Salmon fishing in Iceland is expensive but Selá tries to keep the price down as much as they can. The price is somewhere from $150 - $400 per rod a day with the lodge included.

The river
The river is around 14 km but the anglers can only fish around 9 km of the beat. This is a private beat so the only anglers fishing the rivers are the one's who buy the 2 rods. The fish is mainly salmon but there are also arctic chars, sea trout and brown trout in the river.

The rules
Only 2 rods are allowed in the river and anglers are allowed to fish from 7:00 - 13:00 and again from 15:00 - 21:00. The licenses are sold in 2 and 3 days packages where anglers arrive at 15:00 at the day they start fishing but they need to leave the lodge no later than 13:00.
